Olympic Ring
The Olympic rings were entered in Olympic Games first time by Baron Pierre de Coubertin (founder of the modern Olympic Movement) in 1913 when he saw a similar design on an artifact from ancient Greece.
That’s five rings stand for the five great regions of the world: The Africa, The America, The Asia, The Europe, and The Oceania. Every national flag in the world includes at least the five colors, which are blue, yellow, black, green, and red. It is very important to highlight that “Pierre de Coubertin” never tell nor wrote that the colors of the rings were linked with the different continents.
A ring of steel has fallen around Beijing as the powers that be pledge to take no likelihood with Olympic safety, whatever the cost to business, workers and day-to-day lives.
